Specialist directly involved in the development of a product
Work with PO to refine vision/strategy/product roadmap to maximize business value of the product and be accountable for successful delivery
Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
- Accountability for the delivery of a multi-year IT program to deliver the Digital Bank, facilitating all aspects of product management, reporting to the Head, Group Digital Banking.
- Act as senior business partner for IT Architecture and solutions team, and other partners to implement the strategic programs as well as manage the multiple enhancements that happen annually
- Owns the product roadmap for CIMB clicks and ensures the launch of key functions as agreed with and in alignment with business strategy
- Be on top of developments in the technical and financial sector, translate into solutions and influence global strategy. Assist the head of digital banking in preparing and driving the strategy
- Work with the program director to set up and constitute key processes within the digital banking team to review status, performance and oversee projects on a regular basis
- Define and constitute processes to manage product reviews, prioritisation of functions with stakeholders and in agreeing to annual roadmaps
- Lead the product development team in preparing user requirements and pushing the boundaries, and working with the customer experience team to think outside the box in delivering best in class customer experience.
- Enable weekly dashboard reviews with the team and represent product team at the PSCs and working committees
- Have an eye for detail and risks and enable proactive identification, communication, escalation and management of project risks as needed
Qualifications
- 10 years + in a leadership role product management in digital space preferably in financial services sector
- Track record of managing complex products involving the integration of multiple technology solutions
- Hands-on experience implementing multi-channel (online, mobile) technology solutions including online and mobile integration, analytics, social CRM, content management, and Big Data is preferred
- Proven experience working effectively within a matrixed, international organization
- Solid people management and leadership skills working in of a 15+ person organization, to attract, retain, and develop key supporting roles
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders on senior level (MD/DIR)
- Experience in both agile and waterfall software development techniques
- The ideal candidate would have experience either transforming a financial services company into a leading provider of digital trading and banking services or overseeing a similar transformation in a non-financial bricks and mortar company
- Good understand of new technologies (incl. disruptive technologies like social media and analytics) relevant for customer engagement
